First step after install

Open LiveTrans, select your meeting audio source and languages, then run a short test before joining an important meeting.

Privacy hint

LiveTrans transcribes the audio source you choose while it is running. Review the privacy policy before using it with sensitive conversations.

Installation steps

Windows

  1. 1. Download the .exe installation file
  2. 2. Open the installer and follow the setup prompts
  3. 3. Launch LiveTrans from the Start menu and test audio

macOS

  1. 1. Download the .dmg installation file
  2. 2. Open the .dmg file on an Apple Silicon Mac
  3. 3. Drag LiveTrans to the Applications folder
  4. 4. Run LiveTrans from Launchpad and test audio

Common install issues

Windows blocks the installer

Confirm the file came from the official download link, keep security checks enabled, and contact support if the publisher or warning text looks unexpected.

macOS cannot open the app

Move LiveTrans to Applications, then open it from Finder or Launchpad. If Gatekeeper shows a warning, verify the download source before continuing.

No captions after launch

Check microphone/system audio permissions, select the right audio source in LiveTrans, and run a short test before your meeting starts.
